this goes back to the "juno" free e-mail days - without advertising
no less, for me, and has changed, over the eons, of time. however, one
day at a time, would choose scenes, from all over the world. my choices
were animals, beaches with palm trees, birds, buildings, butterflies, clouds,
islands with palm trees, rain-bows, water falls, PUPPIES, ad-infinitum,
when one was spotted, that just had to be added, to my - god's - collection; a
few hundred.
since
a few of us had the privilege of visiting "santorini" on holiday one
year, as well as crete, mykonos, rhodes etc., that was one of my favorites.
next,
right click on the screen, anywhere, and choose desktop, and then "webshots
wallpaper." then in the same frame, choose "center," and
the perimeter color, that suits your personality, or color scheme.
important:
while in "display properties" frame, choose "settings" and
slide "screen resolution" to 1024
by 768 pixels.
now,
"appearance." my choice "windows classic style."
play
around, and find and choose the "webshot" options you like;
calendar, additional months, size, etc.
obviously,
control panel, my computer, hard/auxillary, cd-roms, my documents, recycle,
etc., top "wrong"....... :-)
needless
to say, ole dummy has a large monitor, for all of the arch/drs stuff.
