sum are, for the first time, trying FREEHAND, stuff

copied/edited to "public view" arena - from secretive hidden AREAS; practice, practice, practice.  :-)

over the decades, have used a wide variety of boards, sum even lap boards, for free hand sketching presentations.  even have a multi-thousand dollyer tilt any angle with re-spensive also tilt any degree parallel arm, with scale attachments, both vertical and horizontal.  my son/friend can tell you how heavy those suckers can be, built back in the seventies.  at least, they have scaled down on all of the "BULK," in recent models; decades.

but now, ole dummy just likes a poly something or other green 12" x 18" - used for cutting too (teeny, weenie, tiny box cutter)  - drawing surface, for MOST stuff, these days.

now, just sit at the dining room table, looking at the fireplace, with a 'pit-ture' of a palm tree, on a sandy beach, over the bolection mould.  pretty centered, even if ole dummy doo say so - dumb-self.  it replaced a mirror in the 'pink elephant' page - "fire side chat," when ole dummy moved back across town, due to 'NOTHER move.

but the key, is that the 'board' has an edge.  it is only an eight of an inch thick, plus or minus, but it 'IS' a straight edge.  now pay attention, ok?  with the ol' pinky - last finger - as a rigid guide, ole dummy can place the pencil an inch into the right side of the paper, that is parallel with the edge of the 'mat' - drawing surface [board] - and slide the pencil, which is being held steady, one inch into the paper, down the edge, for a very straight line; "free hand."

the board sure does get a lot of rotating, at times; not so easy, for a thousand pound drawing board, ya hear?  getting old, too.

it also even works for six inches, with the pencil extended into a FAR REACHING pointed grasp, of the concept being developed.  but ole dummy has to rotate, to do the other side, or go across.  god has not given ole talentless those talents, "yet."  :-)

however, these basics are for 'casual' concepting.  god has had me in crisis, emergency, "times' a waisting" mode, for the last five months.  {summer '08}
