epistle, for third quarter discipline.

seems that much progress has been made, in personal lives, around the globe, relative to learning how to fight back, against a tide that wanted to doo global harm, to humanity.  it has not gone anywhere, and is still poised to attack, again, when we least expect it.

heard recently on a local radio talk show, sum really STUPID stuff, like putting a penalty tax on the yacht industry, decades ago, and they thought that it had 'worked.'  another stupid statement was, 'we still do not have an energy policy.'  folks, god does.  we humans, and especially government, can only mess it up,  more than it already is.  we  have got to learn how to find out what that is - god's will  (spiritual growth), and be willing to grow toward it.

no matter  how much we as individuals try to fight the tide, we are just a pittance, compared to what is actually consumed, around the globe; trucking/air lines etc.  with this topic, let us try to think about sum really far reaching stuff, ok?

am personally committed to god's sun.  recent scientific break-throughs seem to be very interesting, to say the least.  different types of glass, that can capitalize on view, and collecting energy.  another is pivoting the reflector, toward an ever changing angle of the sun, as planet earth continues to rotate, always changing position of the maximum allowable energy concentration.

with our commitment to lower energy cost, for heating, and cooling, which is in the billions of dollars, over the long haul, very soon, probably, manufacturing costs will begin to bottom out, and new 'snap together' products will be available for 'non-skilled' labor to install, which at the moment is a very expensive proposition, for any individual.

what we are driving at, in this 'epistle' - :-) - is that it will take time, but focus we must.

as another example, let us take a look at the trucking industry, for a moment.  with the new 'additive' that is available, seems that mileage can be increased by 10 to 15 percent.  believe that that particular product is one of the most sought after products, on earth today.  will probably be into the auto manufacturing industry soon, too.  let us hope so, anyway.

but relative to trucking, trying to consider population and geography, maybe there need to be a FEW super terminals, around america, that can easily handle 'truck' trains through our existing interstate roadway system; tri-trailers.  then if we can get volumes of goods to 'super' terminals, using considerably less fuel, then a more efficient distribution system might also be able to use less fuel also.  don't know where it was read, and whether or not it is accurate, but allegedly 70% of land based fuel is in 'trucking.'  maybe what has just been mentioned is way off base.  but REAL fuel savings will come from trucking, not automobiles, over the long haul.

the next thing that interests ole dummy is wind energy.  it will come, when it is supposed to.  but it will take generations for the grid to be in place, to handle all of the transmissions, from the 'heartland.'  all that we can doo, in the interim, will help, but to be a major source, it is going to take time, and huge investment, for productivity, and profits.  can't make a profit, don't do it, agreed?  [MUCH LESS GOVERNMENT - at all levels, ok?]

but god is very proud of all concerned global citizens, that took into account humanity, and did what they could, to reverse the tide of fuel cost increases, in the year of our lord, 2008 A. D.  "THANKS."

PS:  'don't want to drill, don't drive.'  :-)
