recently saw an infomercial, for a book that is now published, that states if the acidity - the pH - were changed, by a non medicine procedure, in a cancer prone body, there would be no possibility of cancer. if that is true, and the american cancer institutes know that, they are as guilty of corruption as the united nations is, relative to the oil for food scandal, or much much more. how many decades have they been trying to defeat cancer?
that infomercial also stated that a very simple natural external procedure could cure arthritis. my mother suffered from arthritis for over forty years, with a perpetual monthly medicine bill. if the medical community and the pharmaceutical community know that, woe to them too, when they meet god, unless they too repent.
had an aunt that depended on medicine, and in time, she was hospitalized. her husband had to sell everything they owned, having owned a "western auto" dealership for many decades, so that the government would declare them eligible, so that the government would take care of his wife. she lived about ten years in a comma. she had gone from an attractive, robust, humorous, loving, one hundred and forty or fifty pound mother, and wife, to a frail sixty five pound skeleton, or less, with eyes so far back in their sockets that it was perfectly painful to even look at, before she passed on. yes, the medical community fed her medicine, every day, until her death. that is all the medical community will ever believe in, medicine.
also, the infomercial informed their audience that some manufacturers, in the food industry, include additives that enhance hunger - cause gluttony, which is the cause of obesity. woe to them also.
but the only economic law that is applicable is that if you do not grow, you die. of course they want to sell more health care, medicine, and food. i truly understand that too much is not enough.
thank god for god's seventh day of creation, where all things will change, because god is changeless, and god is good.
my parents taught my brother and me, over and over and over, "the best that you can hope for in this life is good health."
my long successful career abruptly ended - which lasted about twenty seven years, having started as a ditch digger making a dollar an hour on a construction site of a manufacturing facility, even before i had my drivers license - because the conglomerate that bought most of the services of my company, involved in architectural design and general construction of large multifamily projects, sold out to a member of wall street. they had in place all of the people and firms, and we were not needed, in 1981, and all perks ended, including medical insurance. literally, i was in a foreign country; profound money, property, and prestige, changed to poverty, over night, which continues to this day. let me also mention that the attorney that i had paid over three hundred dollars an hour for his services, in the seventies, said, "i can't help you, because you do not have any cash, and you might take me down with you." what a blessing! all praise, honor, and glory to god. eventhough i was close to a million dollars in debt to banks for construction loans and mortgages, god would not let me file for bankruptcy, and in a period of time, he got it all paid off.
have visited a doctor twice in over twenty years. the first in an emergency room, where he told me that stress was causing my problem. i had to ask him what was causing the pain. left the hospital, called my boss, resigned, went home to the couch for two weeks, and have never been bothered by that painful ordeal again, and that was early 1985. i need to mention that i refused to have the medical prescription filled. the next visit was two days after a huge new luxury car ran through a stop sign, hit me broad side, and totaled my tiny little old car, from the drivers side, at the drivers door. guess that he had business on his mind. the pain got so bad that i was instructed by the claims agent, from the offending party, that i should see if there were any broken bones, or ribs. after a two or three hour wait, there were only bruises, praise god. by the way, the nice highway patrolman gave me a ride home, after the wreck. also, let me mention that pain is good. did not take any medication for the pain in the ribs. it makes us rest and protects us, so that we do not cause more harm, when we can't move around comfortably, which gives us time to heal.
but the most important issue here is, jesus says, settle your differences out of court. why does this world not trust god for true justice, but goes for justice that is so frequently bought with money that yields corrupt justice? and even if there is a judgment of many millions of dollars, the plaintiff may never see it, because the lawyers have used up all of the assets. remember being in a civil trial, caused by the back water of hurricane frederic, which caused the failure of a transformer, on one of my commercial properties, that i had designed and contracted to have built. when i was asked when i had established the value of the fire and smoke damage, and said, "when the insurance company said that they would not pay the claim," the defendant's attorney yelled out, "mistrial." so, two or three weeks later, a new trial started. in other words, you are not allowed to tell the truth in court, where you put your hand on the bible swearing to tell the truth, because it would be politically incorrect, and you might offend someone - or even enrage the jury, and they would really make the insurance company be responsible for their actions, or the lack thereof. but back to the subject of this article, health issues.
for over twenty eight years, have been reading and studying one text book that states, "We are convinced that a spiritual mode of living is a most powerful health restorative."
in the late eighties, in central florida, having been hired as a project manager, for a subcontractor under one of seven international general contractors, simultaneously on the same site, on a half billion dollar project, was working with a man in my spare time, that was trying to make an inventory of the things that he had done, in his entire life, in preparation of confessing that information to god, and another human being. he had been trying for close to a decade, and had thus far failed at abstinence, from a fatal malady. he was in his fifties.
one friday, he slipped away to the beach, and reverted to his old behavior, and ended up in a comma. went to the hospital with his daughter several times. he never regained consciousness. he ran up a bill that in today's dollars would be about $500,000. yes, the government had to pay his bill of well over six figures then, plus his burial expenses. three people are mentioned in this episode. there are now close to three hundred million people in this country.
the point of all of this is that the only way for america to aim is to make the individual responsible for their own health issues, in hopes of reducing the consequences of the lack there of, rather than the government paying exploding medical costs, with no attempt at personal responsibility. the way it is being proposed has incentive to the individual, and that makes sense to me, rather than the universal health care program, proposed by the other political candidate.
heard on television this week that the average net worth of americans is about eighty seven thousand dollars. there is a lot of difference between under a hundred thousand, and one half million dollars.
have been studying another text book, for close to thirty years also, that has the opinion that it seems clear to us that god will not grace our lives, to dispel our destructive obsessions, until we at least try confessing the wrongs that we have done, disregarding the wrongs that others have done to us completely. don't think that god is going to change his mind on that one either.
there are zero horizontal relationships with god. they are all vertical, and personal. most, if not all, of that type of relationship, has an opportunity to begin, on both knees, with head bowed, and eyes closed, and serious, wholehearted, earnest, and even a desperate attempt at communication. have not met anyone yet, that has ever been able to bargain or negotiate with god. personal circumstances only will always make each individual willing. that can not be legislated by any government agency or health institute.
but now let us get to the really good news, about combating the rising cost of health issues; wonder why jesus says, physician, heal thyself?

the reason for the war, in the middle east, is perfectly clear to all godly people, and is explained in the following scripture in isaiah 9:6-7, even though no one, in their right mind, likes nor wants war. however the bible even states, "there is a time for war, and a time for peace," in the book of ecclesiastes.
For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. And the government will rest on his shoulders. These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His ever expanding, peaceful government will never end. He will rule forever with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David. the area in which the site was located. remember refusing
health insurance before i left, because it would have been a slap
in the face to god, to not trust him. i was too far
into the process to back out.
personally, i was
responsible for twenty five of those approximately four hundred
acres, concerning everything outside of the buildings in phase
one, relative to general construction, known as hardscape.
we imported stones from all over the world, and worked with
national associations of granite, limestone, steel, and
aluminum. but before we stuck a single pick in the ground,
we had issued close to a million dollars worth of change orders,
from the job site. we would receive about twenty pounds of
paper per day - that might be propaganda or maybe even more, from
the general, concerning addendum, changes to the plans, etc.
and before construction, i had to travel the state, lining up
qualified subcontractors, under us, to perform the assigned tasks.
we had some huge numbers to deal with.
it took eight years
of process to get through city hall, with an army of architects,
engineers, art directors, planners, managers, assistant managers,
secretaries, receptionists, gofers, cleaning personnel, not to
mention lights, water, heating and air conditioning, and travel ad
infinitum, on the payroll of the owner, before any general
construction could start.
before actual
construction, they had been mucking and moving dirt around, for
years, in which time i think that they lost a concrete truck and a
bulldozer, in the muck, but doing all of the site utility
construction - water, sewer, storm drainage, electrical and
underground communication, which were subject to change, when the
engineers would send out new plans, changing an eight inch water
line, to a twelve inch water line, determined by city government,
which involved thousands of feet, and many
other site changes. one huge global contractor left
saying, "see you in court," because the owners, one of
the wall street crowd, refused to sign any of their change
orders.
the entire general
construction cost of that project was almost identical to the wtc
repair cost, which i suspect was entirely union, in new york city.
believe that it was
in the early seventies, that the entire agc - association of
general contractors, of which we were members, that the aggregate pre
tax profit was one and three quarters of a percent.
the joke, around bid lettings was, "did you leave out enough
to get this one."
the point of all
this is that unions cost jobs, and excessive environmentalists
cost jobs, world wide. in africa, this year, global praise
was given to someone that is now a renowned environmentalist, for
saving a few trees, in a "green belt," rather than
have a huge construction project. it was the nobel peace
prize, if i am not mistaken. they
could have imported tens of thousands of trees from where ever in
the world that they had desired, in order to give those poor
people jobs.
when my employer
told me that i was not needed anymore as the project manager,
because they wanted to promote me to a regional manager's
position, because i had increased their profit potential
significantly, according to them, i declined it, because god had
told me before i was approached for the job, two words only,
"project manager." he wanted me in that state,
where there were people that had two and three times more
recovery than i had, at the time, and he wanted me to see
what we could become. the job was incidental, however was
extremely pleased, when our group invited all of the art
directors, who think they are god, and all of the managers of the
general, etc, to see all of the mock ups of all of the required
samples of surfacing, rusticated terrazzo - with all types of
metal divider strips forming all kinds of shapes, steel railings,
steel gates, precast concrete, concrete finishes - vertical and
horizontal, including a variety of tinted concrete colors, stucco
finishes, unit paves and stone curbs, and asphalt paving products,
in which we received a one hundred percent approval rating.
one of the most meticulous negotiations had to do with the paint
process, on the steel railings, and gates.
was the lead
designer, and consultant, on a one hundred and forty
million dollar multifamily community, out of state, for four
years, when 9/11 hit. all of the reports, soils,
environmental, traffic, structural, gas capping, even run off ad
infinitum, were go. but they had to liquidate.
during the process, the opposition would just ignore
the judges orders, to show cause. to me that is
corruption, some people have an agenda, and they are
not republicans, and they will just absolutely never be
satisfied. they hurt americans, for their
selfish ambitions, in my opinion. i believed
that it was good for the community, because a new toyota
manufacturing facility was under construction, but most of the
community had three or four different retirement community
designs involved. and pure religion requires that we take
care of orphans and widows. there was, at that time, a
huge waiting list for exclusive retirement facilities, in the
area, which is one of their states leading industries.
there were seven types of residential markets, on the one site,
that raised about four hundred vertical feet, and i was chosen
because i had mountain construction experience. needless
to say, we were thinking of a ten year build out. and the
builder that i had lined up, to the satisfaction of the owner,
that did over 200 million in construction per year, filed for
bankruptcy, due to 9/11.
and since money no
longer interests me, was trying to help a friend, and was on the
come, so to speak, if it kicked off. but because we
brought in out of state professionals, to save money for the
project, because we were trying to help poor people, the unions
had a bigger say in things than we did. we even had a
letter from the governor, congratulating our comprehensive
vision, for the community.
every act of
every human being defines their own life, not the president of
the united states of america, regardless of which political
party is in power. what are the fifty states, and their
governments, and their laws doing to help, or hurt, the
people? and until all of the press and all
forms of the media gets that through to "we the
people," it will continue to fail "we the
people," utterly.
the
decisions that we as individuals make today directly and
proportionately affect the choices that we have available to
us tomorrow.
a footnote to all of
this. remember visiting the omni in atlanta, at the tale end
of construction. it blew my mind that they were twenty
million dollars over budget, with an initial budget of fifty
million, and had not even begun to negotiate with the railroad,
for the right of way, for their parking deck over the rail lines,
for the annex facility. think that one of the rockerfellows
was in on the ownership of that one. seems to me that
the solution to their problem is to just keep throwing
more money at everything, and that will solve the problem.
nothing has changed has it?

graduated from college, because my pinmate got pregnant, and my
parents jerked me out of college, when they learned that i had
joined a fraternity. (the one that has a sweetheart ball
each year.) she was an only child, of the most prominent
physician in town, and i was just a little ole country boy, from
the sticks, who had neighbors of poor white trash, and blacks, then
called colored people. they were my playmates; the
surrounding tenant farmer's children. most of the farmers
grew tobacco, and i still smoke, because god grows tobacco, not
medicine. what ever happened to equal rights? i would
have to ride my bicycle into town, six miles, to play tennis, and
literally was knocked unconscious, on the first kickoff, of my little
league football career, because some huge guy knocked the hell out
of me, with my white buck red sole regular shoes on. never
made it beyond second squad in junior high, on the football team,
but was a cub scout, boy scout, and sea scout. we went to
church, most sundays, before all of us went to my parents
business, in town, because we had to supply the country
clubs, big churches, weddings, and select restaurants,
with our products, even on sunday. vacations were rare.
we hired more blacks than whites, at times. my final
comment is that i did not think that i would ever be grateful that
i had married an only child, until i heard that some people
have had affairs with their wife's sister. wow.

high rise, that the owner had declared to the banks that he was
walking away from. billy graham came on the television, and
looked up to the heavens, in a stadium full of people, with
both arms raised high, and declared, "oh what a sinner i
am." my thought was, "oh hell, there ain't no
hope for me." the conversion of the high rise was a success!

that my former father in law and i remained the best of friends.
he tricked me into visiting a hospital by saying, "if
you will go to such and such a place, you will learn why you do
what you do." i definitely wanted to learn that, above all else.

been delivered from a fatal malady, and his exact words were,
"my god ronnie, you look like a child."
asked him, "what's the matter joe?" he said,
"they say i have a neurological disorder." i said,
"joe, talk to me so that i can understand it." he
said, "i have a case of the nerves." he was
selected, by his peers, the md - 1, in our state. a few of
his patients were, lolly cone, spencer love, julian price, etc.
a great man.

to hear, from the throne room, that many people that did
receive one of the forwarded e-mails, that don't give a shit about
television, nor politics, have actually begun to pray, again.
and many had not prayed since they were little children,
except to say an occasional blessing of the food, at a meal, once
in a while, "father, now i lay me down to sleep,....
maybe there is real power moving through the
internet. and they say that god almost wept, because
he was sooooooooo happy!
that reminds me of
larry's favorite blessing, of the food: rubba dub dub, bring

never will forget
working with a true friend, even though he was not in the same
anonymous fellowship that i was in. he was a developer that
knew the emir of kuwait. he had sold him an ocean front
piece of property, of quite a few acres, years earlier. i
rented a helicopter, for the two of us, to get a clear picture, in
our minds, of the entire area, so we would better know where
to design an ocean front resort, relative to acreage on the main
land, for foreign travelers, that like to play
golf. we were both believers of sound and solid
business principles, with no seed money involved, on our part at
all, to get this one rolling. we were both on the come.
we had in mind, a
few golf courses, on the main land, but within a twenty or
thirty minute drive, to a resort complex, on the ocean front, FOR
THEIR GOLFERS ONLY. and after many months of work, when it
was taken to investors, there was profound optimism. then
the real estate agents got in on the picture, when options on land
needed to be put. after weeks of arguing on how big a piece
of the pie each agent would get, - listing v. selling and
selling v. listing, complicated by a variety of owners, the deal
perfectly broke down, because no one would yield one single crumb. they
operate on principle too, don't they?
but was invited to a christmas
lunch, at the developers home that year. he and his
wife, their four year old daughter, her mother, and i were
present. after the meal, the daughter sung, while they
brought out the birthday cake, with four candles on it,
"happy birthday to you,... happy birthday to you... happy
birthday dear jesus... that really impressed
me.

been one of ronnie's favorites, from floor coverings on front

but he really did work hard while finishing the slate, in
his foyer, on his hands and knees. am not sure, but his
wife, i think, did most of the work.
have not a clue
why there are two inspired messages today, at all. but in
an earlier e-mail, mentioned that we were not through editing

web page. guess what? the minute that the e-mail was
sent, he had me go back to the web site, open that page for
editing, and had me number each paragraph, except special ones,
like definitions and quotes, that are not our work.
even one paragraph that is full color from beginning to end, was
not numbered. seems that there might be the
following concept. while people may be e-mailing and
talking about a particular paragraph, and even while being on
the phone, they can easily find the total yellow paragraph,
as well as all numbered paragraphs.
let me show you
which one, just by accident, ended up with some people's
favorite number. but god wants to butt in, first.
rude and crude at times, isn't he?
ronnie is good at
math, sometimes, but that is all i can trust him with, simple
tasks. he is a real hot head, when any person
disrespects me. he even made a 97 on his first college higher algebra
and math exam. he was even drinking beer, before
he went to class, because he was so bored. i remember him
taking a nap, with his head on the desk, in an english class,
one day.
he could add
up a complete estimate, comprised of many pages, listing misc,
labor, material, subcontract, and total columns(all
vertical), plus doing column, and page totals, and grand totals, without
a single error, proved by the tape that his chief "accounts
payable clerk" stapled to the estimate, and had signed off
on. and guess what. he did it faster, in his head,
than the clerk could do on the machine, and they were the
fastest that i have ever seen.
but he must have
some form of humility, that i am not aware of, because he turned
down an invitation, to be included in the who's who in america's
math and science publication, or something like that, maybe
because they do not have my name in that book. am not sure
about that though, so look forward to talking with him
about that some day. i know, some people are going to
accuse me of taking his inventory. it's fun, isn't it?
but there is so
much work to be done, i don't see his being in paradise, for a
very long time, unless i convince that perfect lady, who loves
her children more than anybody in the whole wide world, to
be the president of fulfilled mansions. that really is
one of the toughest assignments that i have ever had to contemplate.
creating the entire universe was easy, compared to this
one. know what i mean?

with all of their mind, strength, might, and heart, also.
