Scripture:  Psalm 125:1-5  (NIV)

Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be shaken but endures forever.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
so the LORD surrounds his people
both now and forevermore.

The scepter of the wicked will not remain
over the land allotted to the righteous,
for then the righteous might use
their hands to do evil.

Do good, O LORD, to those who are good,
to those who are upright in heart.

But those who turn to crooked ways
the LORD will banish with the evildoers.
Peace be upon Israel.

comment:  maybe, the best place to start, for those that do not know what a scepter is.  next, the best NEWS for ole dummy is that our trust cannot be shaken.  folks, that takes a perfectly powerful foundation, built only on personal powerlessness, how ever, DOWN TO BEDROCK.   practice, practice, practice, until we get it right, which is god's only decree for us, in HIS SCEPTER.

how many of us have been slack, on praising god for his guardian angels surrounding us?  "satan, get thee behind us,"  ok?

Prayer:  heavenly father, we praise and worship you, for the good deeds that you have planned for us, in christ, which you ordained, before the world began.
