The Song of Moses and of the Lamb
Scripture: Revelation
15:1-8
(NLT)
Then I saw in heaven another marvelous event of great significance. Seven angels were holding the seven last plagues, which would bring God’s wrath to completion.
I saw before me what seemed to be a glass sea mixed with fire. And on it stood all the people who had been victorious over the beast and his statue and the number representing his name. They were all holding harps that God had given them.
And they were singing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb:
“Great and marvelous are your works,
O Lord God, the Almighty.
Just and true are your ways,
O King of the nations.
Who will not fear you, Lord,
and glorify your name?
For you alone are holy.
All nations will come and worship before you,
for your righteous deeds have been revealed.”
The Seven Bowls of the Seven Plagues
Then I looked and saw that the Temple in heaven, God’s Tabernacle, was thrown wide open.
The seven angels who were holding the seven plagues came out of the Temple. They were clothed in spotless white
linen with gold sashes across their chests. Then one of the four living beings handed each of the seven angels a gold bowl filled with the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever.
The Temple was filled with smoke from God’s glory and power. No one could enter the Temple until the seven angels had completed pouring out the seven plagues.

comment: wonder
what that sounds like, and what "tunes" are used? but
what ole dummy got out of this kinda relates to the "Seven
Deadly Sins," mentioned in the 12 and 12, on page 48, in the
chapter about step four; the failure of our moral character.
since
some understand that most of us dummies do not have an "off
switch," and since ole dummy is the chief of the "too much
isn't enough" types, let us offer a corollary.
until
an individual is saturated with what wants them dead, they are
unwilling to look at their "very high cost of low living
habits." something has to be done, in absolute
earnestness. "circumstances made us willing."
things
go along so well, with the one demon not being in control, we tend to
slip back into our old habits, over time, but still do not repeat the
behavior - habitual - of the one thing that we absolutely know will
kill us. but finally, something else creeps into our "life
style" that gets our attention, because we now want to commit
suicide, over that VERY BAD DEFECT OF CHARACTER.
oh
well, you get the picture. jesus says that the one demon
returned, and finding that the house had been swept clean, decided to
go and get his seven buddies - fucked up demons too - and they all
entered the host body, with those tormented spirits (satan's allies),
into a wana bee good soul. rots of ruck.
anyway,
one day at a time, we ultimately learn how to take on all those
suckers, and perfectly learn how to depend on step eleven, BEFORE ANY
FUTURE ESCAPADES, from now on.
Prayer: heavenly
father, we praise and worship you, for teaching us after we have been
saturated with all of our foolishness, about the character required
for your glory.
