Scripture: PHILIPPIANS
3:12-21 (NIV)
Pressing on Toward the Goal
Not that I have
already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I
press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But
one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what
is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which
God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
All of us who are
mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you
think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Only let us
live up to what we have already attained.
Join with others in
following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live
according to the pattern we gave you. For, as I have often told you
before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the
cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their
stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly
things. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a
Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that
enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our
lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

comment: LET ME MAKE THIS PERFECTLY CLEAR, FROM GOD'S
PERSPECTIVE. ABORTION IS AN EARTHLY THING. ONE TRANSLATION STATES, MANY WALK ALONG THE CHRISTIAN ROAD, AND ARE ENEMIES OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST.
if the shoe fits, wear it, all you self-righteous wana be "alleged
christians." forget about political power you sick
suckers. ask god who he wants you to vote for, as
individuals! try on for size, god's power.
you are not even a broken tiny ugly rotten and worn out tooth
pick, amongst god's growing giant redwoods. there is only one christian, and
that is christ himself. and pay attention to what it says about
NOT ONE BEING LOST, below. have you ever thought about the scripture
that states anyone that is committed to destruction cannot be
ransomed, and must be put to death, and linked that with why abortion
is an earthly thing, rather than a heavenly matter. get back on
god's path. and by the way, it says, he gave his life for the
ransom of many, not all. quit trying to play like
you are god.
"I guarded them so that not one was lost, except the one headed for destruction, as the Scriptures foretold."
(john 17:...12)
this scribe's opinion is that jesus is not a liar and it should be a state's issue, rather than a federal issue; established by federal expansionist judges, not by elected leaders.
as a matter of fact, the south fought the civil war, not about slavery, but the issue of washington telling the states what they had to do. think about it folks, friend and foe, the war was fought by citizens of the south, not slave holders, even though a few were military officers. to take this thought even further, which might even make some people hate me more, if that is possible, there were good slave holders, and some evil slave holders. the good ones knew that it had to come to an end, and taught their slaves how to read the bible and write. the evil slave holders did no such thing. and if you do not see the evil in our union controlled education system, you are blind. they do not want to teach things that will help the students today either. the perfect example was the dissertation of the eighteen year old, in a recent beauty contest.
now about us dummies that consider our past our greatest possession. after the repentance has been consummated in step nine, to god's satisfaction, we do forget about it, but when someone wants out of their hell, we gladly go in the storage room - some are bigger than other's - and find neatly stored, all of our dark past categorized on shelves, where we can easily choose what part is appropriate to share our past, and tell others what we did, NOT WHAT THEY SHOULD DO.
Cling to the thought that, in God's hands, the dark past is the greatest possession you have - the key to life and happiness for others. With it you can avert death and misery for them.

Prayer: father god, we praise you for letting us learn how to work together with one mind and one heart, that your son's spirit is willing to teach us, after you have freely given us your precious gift of the spiritual awakening.
