The Left: The smear ad published against Gen. Petraeus has drawn attention to its sponsor, MoveOn.org. But the fingerprints of the group's chief financial backer, George Soros, were all over it. Who is this man and what is he up to?

He may be the mover and shaker of the group, but name some names. We need to know who else gives to MoveOn. It is dangerous to have anonymous donors and shadowy figures directing a Presidential election. Sounds like the Mafia or Communist Party to me.

Wow. He's scarier than Chavez. More money, intent on breeding chaos.

I've seen Soros--who spent several million dollars supporting liberal activist groups in 2004--quoted as saying that his only regret about 2004 was that he obviously didn't spend quite enough.

Soros is lucky he isn't attacking Chavez, or Putin, or Castro, or Bin Laden.... he might not have lived so long if he were.

Soros is an extremely dangerous man and has the wherewithal to make pols jump through hoops. Evidence: Hillary and Obama. I feel quite sure moveon.org has all the Dims on a list and are checking it twice. This is the level that US politics have sunk too. That said, I do believe a Higher Authority will, at some time, bring that house of cards down.
This article needs to be in the must reads.

#1 you can find out all you want about MoveOn.org over at frontpagemag.com
Their DiscoverTheNetworks.org is a brilliant compiliation of the complicated relationships among the Leftist organizations. Check this out http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/groupProfile.asp?grpid=6201
MoveOn has received financial support from numerous leftist organizations, including the Tides Foundation, the Shefa Fund, the Stern Family Fund, the Steven and Michelle Kirsch Foundation, the Compton Foundation, and George Soros's Open Society Institute. Following a September 17, 2003 meeting between Soros and Boyd in New York, Soros and his associates gave nearly $6.2 million to MoveOn over a period of six months. The contributions included $2.5 million from George Soros personally; $2.5 million from Peter B. Lewis of Progressive Insurance; $971,427 from Stephen Bing of Shangri-La Entertainment; $100,000 from Benson & Hedges tobacco heir Lewis Cullman; and $101,000 from Soros' 34-year-old son Jonathan Soros, an attorney and financier recently promoted to deputy manager of Soros Fund Management LLC.
Anyone who is insured with Progressive should drop it and fast!

There you have it. War on America through financial chicanery. Turn America into a much easier to manipulate 3rd world hell hole. Bail out the big banks with the interest rate reduction. My dollar has just been devalued again and congress is absorbed with bashing the war in Iraq. Maybe being ruled by Sharia Law will be better.

OK #1-how about Peter B. Lewis, founder of Progressive Ins. Co. for one.
Don't know if the lizard's owner is involved but it wouldn't surprise me.

Soros is an atheist and a cynic of the lowest order. He made at least some of his money by wrecking the financial systems of some small countries and cashing in on the collapse. I suspect he is in some measure responsible for the fall in the value of the US dollar, though I am not savvy enough financially to know how. McCain and Feingold with their ruinous campaign finance bill were not smart enough to keep Soros and his ilk from using their money to corrupt the US political system. Soros is not as big as he thinks he is and will fail at some point. The best solution I can see at the moment is for citizens not to support any candidates he favors and not to do business with any of his companies or his friends' companies.

Yep #11-Soros is indeed a Bond Villian-he single handedly screwed up the British banking system-and is trying to do that to ours...

Soros was one of main people behind the Thai currency collapse in the late 90's. Have heard he earned over $500 Million alone from that situation. He has HUGE bets against the U.S. dollar too. His profit on this alone is more than likely able to easily finance his moveon contributions.
The only thing that will stop all this is if the GOP bands together and votes like we've never voted before, and for whichever Republican candidate is on the ballot.
We can't let abortion be an issue, or any other be the over-riding issue to determine whether we will or won't vote. We need numbers on our side to counter the Dems. Numbers mean we control the agenda, and prospects for better judges than any the Dems will force onto the American people.
When they lose the Dems will realize they were with the wrong backers.

Say no to the lizard. Warren Buffett, the world's most successful stock market investor, owns a huge chunk of Geico. He isn't as outspoken or as radical as Soros, but he is a yellow dog democrat who supports the Democratic agenda right down the line, and is also heavily long the Euro and short the US dollar, hoping for the latter to keep declining in value. My own auto insurance is with AIG.
As for Soros, he's a militant atheist (and former Jew who helped the Nazis find other Jews during WW2) and malignant capitalist who paradoxically hates capitalism. His tomfoolery with currencies and banking systems threatens the prosperity of the Free World. Those who compare him to Bond villain Blofeld are on target. It would not surprise me to learn that he's been sending clandestine funds to the jihadists. A modern day James Bond ought to put sugar in the fuel tank of his jet.

Soros has made so many enemies in his dirty financial dealings around the world that he has to have high security escorting him everywhere he goes and he can no longer go everywhere. With any luck he will try something stupid soon and end up crossing Putin over some Gazprom deal. Then he'd find out that his security wasn't enough.

Soros is exactly the kind of person democraps harp about when they talk about "the rich pay no taxes". How is it, that someone worth billions can be a democrap? The dimwits whole reason for being, is to take money from people to pay for bigger government.
Reply 20 - Posted by: david999, 9/21/2007 3:32:34 PM
Soros himself does not believe in victory in Iraq and wants to keep America from achieving it.
"The war on terror cannot be won," he has said.
-------------------
In the article it says he is funding eco terrorists. Why can't he be jailed for financing terror?

At one time the Europeans had issued formal charges against him for his financial 'dealings'. What ever happened to those charges? Have they been dropped? If not, why don't the Euros ask for extradition?

As I heard today, he's the REAL Wizard of Oz, the man behind the curtain. All the Munchkin Dems both revere and fear him, including Hillary and Obama.
Talk to any looney Leftie and George W. Bush is the anti-Christ. They got the first name right, but the last name is Soros.

On September 16, 1992 "Black Wednesday", George Soros nearly broke the Bank of England (and the British economy). Read about it here .

Peter Lewis, the CEO of Progressive Insurance, is George Soros's *best friend* and has a house next door to Soros. Have you all noticed that DemocRats now call Liberals *Progressives* at times?
I always believed that George Soros may have funded the Euthanasia of Terri Schiavo. Lawyer for Michael Schiavo was George Felos, another avid Pro-Euthanasia activist, who speaks at Conferences on Euthanasia. They were determined to set the precedent.
When George Soros's own father was elderly and helpless, it was said that the son wanted the father to die and get out of the way.
Soros is probably the most dangerous and maniacal Madman in America. It's too bad He has a son. At 77, I'd like to see the end of his blood line as much as I'd like to see the end of Castro.

I googled all this over months in 2004 and have did my best to bring L Dot attention on Soros since.
Early research indicated he lied about being Hungarian and was from Bulgaria.
This got him an easy entry to the west.
France still has an indictment against him
The trade towers were the 9-11 target because it was supposed to bring down our entire financial structure too. W. stopped that move making him a Soros target.
The past months have been a financial dance with Soros throwing everything he could gainst our economy and W's people countering .
The tides foundation is a joint Soros and Teresa Heinz -kerry venture with a increasing left turn by the Pew foundation lured into their web.

IBD has a list of the 25 paid for Senators on their site. Of course we don't need the list do we.
Since the four dem candiates are all involved in Soros sedition we now must prevent any of them from nomination to the presidency..
Scour their finances and freeze their accounts
Every anti- american group Soros has financed should be shut down and funds frozen . Soros should be frozen
Every politican he bought should be removed from office without waiting for elections
An exe order outlawing 527's would be a plus.
Let us become moveons worst nightmare and their politicians ousted.
