When Dennis Miller had a comedy program on HBO, at the end of the half hour, he would always have a dialogue, that he would close with this comment:
"Of course that is just my opinion, and I might be wrong."
That definitely applies to this web page.
It is our belief that in the millennium rule of Christ, a special - focused - environment is necessary, for all that desire to learn how to love God, with all of their mind, strength, might, and heart. People always told us that we were supposed to do that, but no one ever told us how to accomplish God's most important Law. For that to occur, we need to be free, for His itinerary for us, as individuals. But for us to be free, we need to be free from debt, resentment, hate, politics, and dependencies of things in this world, that most of humanity depends on.
Guess that we need total disclosure, lest we be accused as being biased, later on. When I reached eligible voting age, was advised by my dad to register as a Democrat, so that I could participate in the primary elections, before the general election. I did not take his advice. Registered as a Republican, but don't have a clue as to why. And until the election in 1992, had never thought about voting for a candidate that was not a republican. However, had decided to vote on the Libertarian for president because of their position on the issues that interested me, for the good of the nation, just happened to be out of state, at the time of the election, and did not vote.
In "His Father's Temple," published by Fulfilled Mansions, we have a statement, "If we do not know who God wants us to vote for, let us not vote." The reason for this is to have a clear conscience, before God, to the best of our ability, at all times. But the list, mentioned and linked in the next paragraph definitely depicts the HUGE division in political thought, here in America. What a jungle!
The only thing that the two party political system in Washington, DC, will ever really agree on, in my opinion, is that they do not want anyone messing with their power. Check out this list of political parties, all here in the United States of America. So, considering that God desires that we work together, with one mind and one heart, this explains this quote in the bigbook, on page seventeen:
We are average Americans. All sections of this country and many of its occupations are represented, as well as many political, economic, social, and religious backgrounds. We are people who normally would not mix.
Before we go any further, maybe we need accurate definitions of the various political parties, that generally participate in our national elections.
Democrat:
1. an advocate of democracy.
2. a person who believes in the political or social equality of all people. Independent:
1. free from party commitments in voting: the independent voter.
Green Party:
1. any environmentalist political party.
Libertarian:
1. One who advocates maximizing individual rights and minimizing the role of the state.
2. One who believes in free will.Republican:
1. of, pertaining to, or of the nature of a republic.
2. favoring a republic. Now we need to know what a republic is:
1. a political system in which the supreme power lies in a body of citizens who can elect people to represent them [syn: democracy] 2. a form of government whose head of state is not a monarch; "the head of state in a republic is usually a president" It is very clear to me, at the beginning of the twenty first century, that the extreme left wing of the Democrat's party, is controlled by people that have a socialist's agenda; and especially this link. So, let us define several of those political ideologies.
theory.socialism . 1.a. A social system in which the means of producing and distributing goods are owned collectively and political power is exercised by the whole community. b. The theory or practice of those who support such a social system. 2. The building of the material base for communism under the dictatorship of the proletariat in Marxist-Leninist
communism 1. A theoretical economic system characterized by the collective ownership of property and by the organization of labor for the common advantage of all members. 2. Communism; A system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single, often authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people. b. The Marxist-Leninist version of Communist doctrine that advocates the overthrow of capitalism by the revolution of the proletariat.
proletariat 1.a. The class of industrial wage earners who, possessing neither capital nor production means, must earn their living by selling their labor. b. The poorest class of working people. 2. The propertyless class of ancient Rome, constituting the lowest class of citizens.
Here is the difference. In the Republican party, the power lies in "a body of citizens." In the Democrat's party, "the political power is exercised by the whole community." I will not expound on what the difference between "citizens" and "whole community" conjures up, in my mind. Let me close this background information by saying that is is very hard to tell who is who in the political environment, here in the United States of America, based on the defeat of the Immigration Bill in the senate, yesterday; 6/28/07.
Please keep in mind that the definition of opinion is:
1. a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty.
2. a personal view, attitude, or appraisal.
Probably the most important item in this opinion is that we need to forget about being popular - people pleasing rather than living for god's approval, which is generally required for politics, in some circles, because they are not basing their agenda on principle. They are going for the popular vote; their politics are about buying votes, ultimately. We can not be pleasing to God, if we are trying to be popular. We have learned, a long time ago, that we are now into principles before personalities. This is a requirement, for all that hope for the desired results of anonymous recovery, to be relieved of their fatal malady. And since we now know the division in political thought, we understand why we are desirous of being in GOD'S PARTY; his family.
Here in the United States, it seems that "we the people" are divided. To say the least, politics seem to be polarizing. Let us offer a scripture that mandates our organizations must aim at, whether the American people do or not. We will leave that chore in God's Hands.
"If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand." (Mark 3:25)
The only way that we can possibly achieve unity is to aim at spiritual principles, which will ultimately yield unanimity. And that is most desirable, since Jesus says that we work with one heart and one mind. But rest assured, the bigbook states that we must under go a change of heart, in the chapter "To Employers," and "The Doctor's Opinion" suggests that we need an "entire physic change." Lot of work ahead toward that goal isn't there?
But now, back to the topic of this web page. I am positively convinced that the biggest sin of the twentieth century was not about abortion, but about "the war on poverty." Our constitution states that congress shall enact no laws that shall establish a national religion. Well, that is what the war on poverty was. A religion for all poor people, to depend on the government, rather rather than depending on God.
This does not mean that we should be crude, rude, disrespectful, etc. We definitely need to be kind and considerate. But here is the meat of the matter. Our constitution is about "equal rights." If you try to make it anything other than equal, you have a corrupt mind, concerning what the constitution of the United States of America is about. We will not enter a dialogue about what the difference between rights and privileges are, but there is a huge chasm between the two. Now let us reveal several scriptures that are relevant to this topic.
Obey the government, for God is the one who put it there. All governments have been placed in power by God. So those who refuse to obey the laws of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow. For the authorities do not frighten people who are doing right, but they frighten those who do wrong. So do what they say, and you will get along well. The authorities are sent by God to help you. But if you are doing something wrong, of course you should be afraid, for you will be punished. The authorities are established by God for that very purpose, to punish those who do wrong. So you must obey the government for two reasons: to keep from being punished and to keep a clear conscience.
Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid so they can keep on doing the work God intended them to do. Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and import duties, and give respect and honor to all to whom it is due. (Romans 13:1-7 NIV)
For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. And the government will rest on his shoulders. These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His ever expanding peaceful government will never end. He will rule forever with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David. The passionate commitment of the LORD Almighty will guarantee this! (Isaiah 9:6-7 NIV)
one translations states, "he will bring true justice and peace to all nations of the world." (TLB)
Several comments are needed, to really understand the preceding scriptures. The "laws of the land" do not include what corrupt jurists proclaimed and decreed, in a court of law. Especially when they were, or are, liberal expansionist judges. Any finding by the court, that does not base it's opinion on the constitution or established law is very corrupt. If it is human opinion, in a court of law, it is definitely against God. They, the jurists, are trying to play God. That is a serious no no, in the spiritual realm.
Let us reflect that we believe that we are now in the seventh day of God's creation. Let also state that everything is going to change, since God is changeless. If you have seen the clips and sound bites about fist fights in houses of government, around the globe that I have, you would have to agree that the current setup is not peaceful.
How many are aware that in the summer of 07, the House of Representatives closed a vote, and claimed victory, when the other side of the isle actually had the victory? Don't know how that would affect your serenity, if you were in the house, but it absolutely astounded the minority, as they walked off of the floor of the house. I doubt that an event like that has ever happened, before, in the entire history of the congress.
And when one hears about this leak, or that leak, trying to diminish the effort of the current administration's policies - through an EXTREME ACT OF SELF WILL, elected by "we the people," one cannot believe that it is of God.
Let me confess that I do not have a clue of what God intends for government employees. What I am absolutely positively sure about though is that God's governments can not be corrupt. So, let us wrap this web page up, by saying that we need to claim, for spiritual progress, the above scriptures in Isaiah and Romans, so that God's messengers can go to work, on God's business, in all governments, that he has established, is establishing, or will establish, around the globe.

maybe they need to talk to chattanooga, about how they re-claimed their city, in an amazing way with all of their people; unity.
