mistakes?
in
recent decades, have had to come to grips with things that have been
absolutely personally detestable, to me, as a human being, and learn
to thank god for them. truthfully, praise of god, in moments of
torment, have been mandatory.
after
my daughter's wedding, on the way back to the coast, tears developed
that were alligator size, because i was not allowed to walk her down
the isle, and give the bride away. within a mile of "praise
you father god," a new thought was planted in my reprobate mind:
"dummy,
you did not have to pay for any of that extravagant
wedding." within
seconds, there was a smile on my face, and joy in my new heart.
during
my evangelical training period, my favorite evangelist was a guy with
the name of Ben, on the seven hundred club. one day
after telling us that we have to thank god for all things, like the
scriptures tell us to, he said, "...and if you have a bad marriage, you thank god that you are
not a bigamist, and have two of those suckers."
one
of the biggest targets, of most pundits - left leaning and even one
popular independent pundit on cable, that have been brutal, in recent years, has been the mistakes made in iraq by
the administration in power, relative to the liberation of close to
thirty million souls. their focus seems to have been an
incessant rant, on everything that has gone wrong, that the u. s. of
a. was/is responsible for; ergo, mistakes.
it
seems as though that most people, here in america and the leftist -
socialist - countries abroad, ESPECIALLY THE MSM, AND DEMOCRATS, seem to think
that a script for the war was written, like a script for a movie, only
to their liking of course, in hollywood, and you had damn well better
follow the script, or we will criticize you every minute of every
day!
or
even worse, we will by god INVESTIGATE every person that we can get
our hands on, rather than legislate which we have tried and failed at
- except for the minimum wage increase of course, and if that doesn't
ruin you, maybe we will even try to impeach
you, because the
bastards did indeed impeach our real president - even though he was
elected with only about forty-three percent of the electorate, for
lying to a federal grand jury, and a federal judge, under oath.
wonder
why god say's "revenge is mine, sayeth the lord." resentments
really are hell, aren't they?
Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer
sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”
(Matthew 9:13 NLT)
am i
the only one that understands that congress is not the commander in
chief, thank god? seems as though they have taken their paranoid
delusional personalities to new heights, that god in his heaven did
not even think was possible.
This is the how and
why of it. First of all, we had to quit playing God. It didn't work.
Next, we decided that hereafter in this drama of life, God was going
to be our Director. He is the Principal; we are His agents. He is
the Father, and we are His children. Most good ideas are simple, and
this concept was the keystone of the new and triumphant arch through
which we passed to freedom.
(bigbook pg 62)
america's
guiding icon, for the entire world, is the
statue of
liberty, in new
york city. see, the french are good for something, which i am
glad to proclaim, since my surname is from french
descent.
according
to a recent article about retired general powell,
people from all over the world are in our embassies, requesting visas,
for what ever reason. wonder how many people are hoping and
praying to get into cuba, north korea, iran, mexico,
nicaragua,
palestine, and venezuela,
in hopes of becoming law abiding citizens? oh well, you get the
picture.
all
spiritually centered people understand that god desires all to be
happy, joyous, and free. but we do not believe that we can
meddle with the scripture that states, "all things are lawful
unto god," not lawless.
over
the eons of time, americans have always been willing to go into harm's
way - via war, to liberate, not to conquer, control, and dominate the
oppressed, when it was necessary. maybe that is one reason that
god has truly blessed real americans so wonderfully, from the get
go.
another,
and maybe the main reason, is that spiritual pilgrims, from europe,
upon arriving in the colony of virginia, got down on their knees in
the sand on the beach, and dedicated the future united states of
america to god.
having
set the stage, so to speak, let us now return to the topic of this web
page; mistakes. any y'all remember turkey saying that we could
not go into iraq, from the north, and tens of thousands of troops had
to be sent to kuwait, which stopped the pincher effect on baghdad, to
kill or capture the renegades?
in
just a matter of hours, before the journey to baghdad began, saddam
freed about thirty thousand convicted felons, that had a life
sentence, or were scheduled to be put to death.
and
this has never been mentioned, to my knowledge, in any of the pundit's
commentaries, ever. for over a decade, embargos were in place,
in iraq, which were part of the u. n. sanctions on iraq. in that
ten to twelve years of sanctions, "criminals" were
trained to black market - imports and/or exports - what ever
saddam wanted. and if you would not go for that, you were
beheaded.
next
came the folks from iran coming into iraq, under the disquise of a
pilgrimage! heard that there were twenty thousand of them.
and of course, syria had to do their do, to try to hurt america.
wonder
if hollywood would have included any of that in their script?
(in
reading an interview with mr. rumsfeld on 9/10/07, it was mentioned
that there were twelve sets of circumstances, beyond our control,
rather than the three mentioned above, that had significant
influence on our efforts in iraq, all of which tested our resolve.)
when
we think of the close to twenty thousand members of our military
losing their lives during the battle of the bulge, in a matter of
days, or the seven thousand that gave their lives, for our freedom, on
the day they entered europe, on the beaches at normandy, it gives me
the thought of how crazy are the people that do not understand that we
are in a war?
surely
the loss of life is very difficult for all family members. but
let us reveal what god thinks of those very brave loving souls, that
did indeed give their lives for america's principle of freedom:
“I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love.
When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!
This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.
There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."
(John 15:9-13 NLT)
how
many can claim that perfection? HERE
IS ONE CLUE.
others
include our first responders that have been so selfless and gallant.
being
considerate of the arab muslims, because of their indoctrination of
being taught to hate america, because it is the great satan, ho ho ho,
some may say that a mistake was made during mr. donald rumfeld's
leadership, at the dod. i just disagree with them.
from
the get go, fortunately, our elected leader, president bush,
understood, and told us, that we were now in a war, not of our
choosing, that was going to last a long time. believe that he
said that it would last a generation. it seems to me that they
had to get their feet wet, just to see what we were up against, in the
middle of arab muslim culture. not to even mention the heat that
they have to endure, during the summer time.
we
will let the historians write about keeping a small foot print over
there, until we found out what we really had to do, against an enemy
that has no country, no offices, except caves, but definitely know how
to con the media, to their advantage, much to the media's shame.
but for there to be just the few thousand casualties that there have
been, in the number of years that we have been their, none can say
that what was established, a surgical war, was not the best that we
could have done, given the circumstances that were not of our
choosing.
and
for our brave military to even go into the "hate filled
center" of the world - wahhabism, with an awesome task, against ruthless hate
filled extremists, they all need our prayers, praise, thanks, and
admiration. it is for our freedom dummy, that they are willing
to lay down their life, if necessary.
probably
ninety percent of americans do not understand that the muslim terrorists
think
that they are going to control
the world,
with sharia law. and the strangest thing to me is that the
people that are trained in madrassas are taught that
they are god's chosen. wow.
folks,
madrassas have been in southeastern asia for over four hundred years,
and their theme of hate and the love of death has not changed.
sure am glad that jesus says, "I
am life."
